Hello, Worm

Nothing says Spring like digging for worms.

Will wasn't so sure about holding it though.  Can't say I blame him.

Easter

We celebrated Easter all week long as treats from various family members made their way to our front door.  I think the last of it arrived today.  One thing is clear: a lot of people love this little monkey of ours.  He is a lucky little guy.

A lucky, and very cute, little guy.  If I do say so myself.

Will doesn't get juice very often and he was a HUGE fan of this organic strawberry lemonade.  I predict many trips to Trader Joe's in Grandma's future.

It felt like summer yesterday - one of the benefits of having a late Easter, I suppose.  We went over to Grandma's for some playtime and a ham dinner.

Will is a huge fan of this lady, too.

It was a really great day spent with one very 'happy' little boy.  Incase you missed last week's video, Will is always 'happy.'  I think it was the word of the week because I heard it quite a bit.  But then, getting presents every day would make me happy, too.

We figured this was a good year to begin a tradition of Easter egg hunting.  After his nap, I put a few eggs around the backyard, each filled with a couple jellybeans.

Will quickly realized they were all located around the perimeter of the yard.  He opened each one as soon as he found it.  I learned he's not a fan of jellybeans.  He chewed them a bit and then spit them all out.  Photobucket

Will and his 'Dada.'  I must be really boring because he asks for him all day long.

Discovering his reflection in Daddy's glasses.  Dude seriously loves to look at himself.  I catch him kissing the full length mirror in our closet ALL the time.

We had a great Easter with our little man.  I love him.

Say what?

While you may or may not believe it based on this video, Will is quite the animal expert.  And allow me to give credit where credit is due: after watching it back, I realize he did actually give me a couple 'woof woofs.'  Good job, Buddy!

Barnyard Dance

A morning visit to the farm never looked so good...

We visited this farm back in the fall, but Will's a little older and more aware of animals, so I decided to take him again.  Plus, it's really close to home.

We packed a lunch and set out to enjoy our morning.

Little baby piggy is just 5 days old...

Will tried feeding the goats from his hand and, while it made him laugh, he didn't want to do it a second time.  Instead he held out his empty hands to lure them over and break their little goat hearts.

Truthfully, I didn't mind this game since animal slobber all over my baby's hands grosses me out.

Working so hard to climb up on the picnic table.  He made it!  And then fell to the ground when he was trying to get off.  No harm done, but MAN, is he clumsy!Photobucket

Will is obsessed with pretending to drive the car lately, so he was way excited about this 'beep beep.'

He went for a ride on a horse and enjoyed a hayride.  And while Will somewhat liked the animals, he far preferred the brooms and shovels that were laying around the barn.  He also had fun with the toys in the sandbox.  It's OK, though.  Because nothing is more fun than paying 6 bucks for your kid to visit the farm and play with the school bus toy that he already has at home.

A few of his favorite things

Today Will indulged in a few of his favorite things...

For starters, Will enjoys being a well-dressed boy.  He was way excited about these sandles today.
Photobucket

Sadly, Will indulged in some junk food.  He loves it.  And I give in way more than I should.  Sigh...

The Easter Bunny is NOT one of his favorite things.  But the picture sure is funny.

Will always adores being outside.  Hooray for Spring and sunshine and sidewalk chalk!

A bad hair day

Yesterday started off innocently enough.  I decided that it really was time for Will to have another haircut, and I was so excited to find one of those goofy, overpriced places that caters to kids.

There was some squirming and some tears, but after a few minutes it was all over.  We went off to Wegman's for some lunch and groceries.  All in all, it was a pretty good start to our Wednesday.

It wasn't until Will woke up from his nap that I noticed...
Photobucket
it was quite possibly the worst haircut I had ever seen.  Really, seriously awful.

Mike came home from work and said, "Somebody got a haircut!"  Then a few seconds later, he kind of squinted, tilted his head to the side, and was all, "What the...."  We both laughed hysterically and poor Will laughed right along with us, obviously unaware that the joke was on him.  Poor Will.
Photobucket
I did my best to even out the front.  Luckily his hair grows rather quickly.

Today is another beautiful spring day, so we ran to the store for some nice weather essentials.

Sidewalk chalk...

Don't worry, Will.  Mommy still thinks you're the cutest boy alive! *smooch*
