Labor Day weekend

It was the last (unofficial) weekend of summer.  But for us, it was unlike the rest of our summer: completely uneventful.  Which is a good thing, I think.

Some things that kept us moderately busy --

Things like a new helicopter.  Mike had an idea, which led us to a hobby shop to purchase a new toy for Daddy (disguised as a new toy for Will who, by the way, isn't even allowed to touch it).

But Will did get a new toy recently.  I found it at a consignment store and couldn't pass it up, especially since he loves the one at Claire's.

We loved on Chewie.

We made biscuits for strawberry shortcake.  And seeing as it's been two days and the biscuits and strawberries are still just sitting around, I'm guessing no one will actually be eating it.  At least the cooking part was fun.

We bought new shoes.  They have cars on them and light up so, naturally, Will thinks they're amazing.

Last, but not least, Will entertained us with a beautiful song.

All in all, not a bad way to end a fabulous summer.
