We put a dresser together.
And since tools were involved, Will insisted on helping.
I normally despise white walls, but since this place is transitional for us, and we don't see ourselves here for the long term, I have mixed feelings on putting forth too much effort. However, when we moved in a few months ago, Will's white furniture looked very.... well.... white.
Since the nursery furniture will soon be needed by another little one, Will's room has been transforming. A new bookcase, a new dresser, newly framed prints on the wall. More color.
We played hide and seek with our elf friend.
Will's new to this whole Elf on a Shelf thing (as am I). We keep it simple. He hides on the couch, Ellie's dog bed, Will's high chair. So far it's been fun.
And as for that creepy Elf-is-watching-you-for-Santa thing? It doesn't matter since Will already knows he's on the nice list. Santa sent him a card that told him so.
We had our first hot chocolate of the season.
It was someone's first time trying it.
We went to a Christmas party.
Actually, we were invited to three. We're so popular.
Will insisted on taking the pictures.
And Ellie refused to be left out.
We watched some TV with Dad post-nap.
We hid in a box.
It was fun.
It was a wild weekend indeed. But I must go as I'm being summoned by someone upstairs: a certain little boy who is still awake. At 9:45 at night. Because that's how he rolls.
