Lunch with the Easter Bunny

Yesterday we had lunch with the Easter Bunny.  I bought Will these cute bunny ears to wear and they were promptly broken after taking this picture.Photobucket
Good thing we got to make some new ones at the luncheon.

And, yes, he started picking his nose right as I snapped this.

A bunny stare down (actually, Will thought his pink nose and whiskers meant he was a kitty)...

After some Easter crafts, it was time for dancing.

A couple videos because everyone loves watching little kids dance.  Right?

A few games with some cheap-o prizes that are Will's new prized possesions...

And a visit with the bunny!  Despite the fact that he was totally creepy, Will was more than happy to have his picture taken with him.

Will and Claire make a mess

The idea started innocently enough.  A little painting and stamp art with a friend on a beautiful afternoon.Photobucket

Then things took an interesting turn.

Yeah...

High fives because making messes is fun!

A Sunday afternoon at home

Our weekend was rather uneventful, but the weather was nice, and we enjoyed ourselves all the same.
Photobucket

Will likes digging for worms, so we did a little of that.

Will loves blowing dandelions, so we did a little of that.

Summer, is that you?

We've had amazing weather all week.  I think Will has spent just about every waking minute outside.PhotobucketPhotobucket
I'm still trying to talk him into using the pedals.  He'll humor me for a half a second before he says, "No, I use feet."
Photobucket

We've gone to plenty of parks and blown more bubbles than I thought humanly possible.
Photobucket
Photobucket

Seriously.  Will LOVES bubbles.

I think we more or less lived in our backyard every afternoon.  It was wonderful.

"I don't like it."

But he likes cheese sticks.

We even broke out the fire pit and made smores.  It's totally summertime.

7

Seven years ago today, I went on my last first date (and I'm hoping that's true for Mike, too).

We got a babysitter and had dinner at the same restaurant - PF Chang's.  Dessert was free :)

Mealtime with our two year old

On the menu: pot roast, carrots, and potatoes

Will wasn't impressed.

Our last vacation as a family of 3

Actually, calling it a 'vacation,' feels like a bit of a stretch.  An overnight getaway, perhaps?  Either way, we had a fabulous time with our little monkey.

It was a repeat of a trip we took last year in February.  We booked a night at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg and decided to do some sight-seeing before we checked in.

Photobucket

Normally I'm OK with puddle jumping, but we only brought one pair of shoes with us.  Puddles were everywhere and Will had a tough time accepting that they were a no-no on this outing.

It started raining on us, so Will decided to borrow my umbrella for a bit.

After a couple hours in Colonial Williamsburg, we checked in to our hotel.  Will was very excited about the water park.  He rode the slides all by himself and did tons of swimming (more like a crab walk with arms going 'the wheels on the bus go round and round' style - cracked me up).

This was the little monkey at 7 pm.  Because touring Colonial Williamsburg and going wild at a water park on no nap will wear a dude out.
Photobucket
Too bad he'd find his second wind and refuse to fall asleep until 11 pm.

Soup for dinner because Will loves soup.
Photobucket

Will was adamant that we play games after dinner, so that's what we did.  Because when it's your last vacation with your sweet boy as your one and only, you'll do anything to make it special.

Finally, on our second day, I was able to get some pictures of Will enjoying the water.

Now we're settling back into home.  Loving on our sweet kitty...

and taking a trip to the baby doctor today (30 weeks - yikes!).
