Actually, calling it a 'vacation,' feels like a bit of a stretch. An overnight getaway, perhaps? Either way, we had a fabulous time with our little monkey.
It was a repeat of a trip we took last year in February. We booked a night at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg and decided to do some sight-seeing before we checked in.
Normally I'm OK with puddle jumping, but we only brought one pair of shoes with us. Puddles were everywhere and Will had a tough time accepting that they were a no-no on this outing.
It started raining on us, so Will decided to borrow my umbrella for a bit.
After a couple hours in Colonial Williamsburg, we checked in to our hotel. Will was very excited about the water park. He rode the slides all by himself and did tons of swimming (more like a crab walk with arms going 'the wheels on the bus go round and round' style - cracked me up).
This was the little monkey at 7 pm. Because touring Colonial Williamsburg and going wild at a water park on no nap will wear a dude out.
Too bad he'd find his second wind and refuse to fall asleep until 11 pm.
Soup for dinner because Will loves soup.
Will was adamant that we play games after dinner, so that's what we did. Because when it's your last vacation with your sweet boy as your one and only, you'll do anything to make it special.
Finally, on our second day, I was able to get some pictures of Will enjoying the water.
Mike and Will looking just a little alike.
Now we're settling back into home. Loving on our sweet kitty...
and taking a trip to the baby doctor today (30 weeks - yikes!).
