Over the course of several weeks now, I've been asking Will what he wants for his birthday. He has maintained that he wants a bike. The description has changed: a big bike, a blue bike, a red bike, a Bob the Builder bike, etc.
We weren't quite sure if he was ready, so Mike took him to some stores to let him try them out. Apparently he did well, so it was decided that Will would get a bike for his birthday. In fact, he'd get it a month early.
We're still working out the kinks. Sometimes he forgets how to use the brakes. Sometimes he goes way too fast. Sometimes he's more interested in making sure everyone's watching him, that he forgets to look where he's going.
But, really, he's doing so great. I honestly can't believe that he's riding a real bike already.
